In 2022, something wonderful happened, Body Butter Bazaar, LLC was founded based on a combination of entrepreneurship and inspiration from family especially Mom Marva and her love of things fragrant and pampering. She always had a great eye for things beautiful and stylish, coupled with a strong sense for things that are practical and of great value.

With special attention to detail, Body Butter Bazaar, LLC customizes and handcrafts every item in our expanding lineup of rejuvenating, moisturizing body butters and balms and popularly scented, whipped mango and shea body butters made with natural ingredients. Our products are designed for women and men.

Our products are packaged in recyclable tin and made with natural ingredients. Shea and mango butter help to hydrate the skin with its moisturizing and skin-softening properties.

Shea butter is a natural vegetable fat that comes from processing nuts from the Karite tree grown in east and west tropical Africa. After it is extracted from the nut, it is further processed to remove impurities leaving an off-white appearance that is creamy. Although some of our products contain raw shea butter, most of our formulations use refined shea butter because it has less odor and is the choice for making fragrant body butter in the personal care industry. Both refined and raw shea butter are known for their moisturizing properties and blend well with other kinds of butter, such as mango.

Mango butter is also a natural vegetable fat even though it is a succulent fragrant fruit of the Evergreen tree indigenous to India.  Unlike the heating process to extract shea butter from oily kernels within the shea seed, mango butter is made by extracting the content of the mango seed and cold pressing it into creamy butter. Likewise, our formulations use raw and refined mango butter. Mango butter is known for its emollient and skin-softening properties and blends well with other kinds of butter.
